Paul Seaton’s pictures are simply breathtakingly beautiful.
Firstly a degree in mathematics, secondly training to be a teacher in Nottingham, and then years of fanatical study in London to become a master artist. That is the journey of Paul Seaton.
Exhibiting since the early 1980's in numerous London galleries, including Whitechapel, Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, the Mall Galleries, the Royal Academy of Arts on Piccadilly, Hollywood Road Gallery Chelsea (owned by the fabulous Patrick Kennaugh), Waterhouse & Dodd of Cork St London, John Noott Galleries in Broadway, Gloucestershire, and Peiter Breughel Gallery in Amsterdam.
In the United States, Paul is represented by Arcadia Fine Arts in New York, where he has recently enjoyed two hugely successful one man shows.
Brilliant classically inspired art with an influence from Henri Fantin Latour and Jean Simeon Chardin.
Paul paints his own home grown old fashion roses and flowers. The kind you can't buy in the stores. These are the kind of flowers that need love and attention. He constantly battles the dreaded black-spot and all other manner of garden pests.
Using his delicate touch, eye for detail, and genuine artistry, together with an exquisite palette, he almost completely re-invents what we expect from a still life painting. Paul has studied and practiced his craft to the highest standard attainable.
