About the Artist: Elise is a photographer, writer and naturopath who fell in love with botanical photography as an artform. Elise focuses on capturing flowers and plants in studios with black backgrounds, as a form of still life photography. As this is an uncommon take on botanical photography, her art is unique in itself. Her art captures the innate beauty of the Australian botanics she captures. 

Her photography technique includes long exposure photography to allow her to use natural light and a depth of field to capture the rich colours, depths and shadows of these bontanics, which makes for a dramatic look at classic flowers. Elise creates truly stunning art pirces, which we are very excited to showcase and further our support of Australian artists.
